Kitwe feeding program

Feeding program 1

So what do you do when you discover not far from your back door is a whole community living in poverty, with many children going without food?

Feeding program 4

Lilian, wife of Joseph Mwila who leads the Newfrontiers church in Kitwe discovered this after running a street kids work project in Kitwe. Even though she has little resources available to her, she set about finding a way to improve things, just that little bit....

Feeding progam 2

Lilian found a dear lady in the compound that was happy to provide a base for operations, and who would could gather and supervise the children twice a week in order to feed them.......

 Feeding program 5

So Tendai and I had the privilege of joining in with the program that feeds about 40 children twice a week throughout the year........and that for the princely sum of £500 per annum!

Feeding program 6

We were also able to give a few handouts of our own.......

A drop in the ocean perhaps, but God's hand of mercy knows no bounds and his heart for the poor is without condition

Of course a woman;s work is never done...some things never change!

Aaah Neil, you should have given Tendai the camera and helped out with the dishes - none of this woman's work nowadays!!!
